Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Techplo. By requesting a quotation, placing an order, registering for a trade account, or using our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before doing business with us.

2. About Techplo

Techplo is a one-stop branding and promotional solutions company helping businesses bring their brands to life through branded apparel, promotional gifts, printing, signage, event branding, embroidery, Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, sublimation, UV printing, laser engraving, graphic design, and related branding services.

3. Ordering Process

Orders are processed as follows:

  • Submit an enquiry or request a quotation.
  • Receive a formal quotation from Techplo.
  • Pay the required deposit where applicable.
  • Receive an artwork proof for approval.
  • Approve the artwork in writing.
  • Production commences once artwork approval and payment requirements have been met.
  • Production turnaround times begin only after artwork approval and confirmation of payment.

4. Payment Terms

  • Techplo accepts Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and bank deposits.
  • A deposit may be required before production begins.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before collection or dispatch.
  • Payment must reflect in Techplo's bank account before goods are released.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Techplo delivers throughout South Africa.
  • Standard production turnaround is 2–3 working days, depending on order quantity and product availability.
  • Turnaround times commence only after artwork approval and confirmation of payment.
  • Express branding services are available on selected products and may attract additional charges.
  • Delivery costs vary according to destination, courier, and parcel size.
  • Customers are welcome to collect orders directly from Techplo by prior arrangement.
  • While every effort is made to meet estimated delivery dates, Techplo cannot be held liable for delays caused by suppliers, couriers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Artwork Approval

  • Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all artwork proofs before approving production.
  • Artwork approval confirms that all spelling, colours, layouts, sizes, quantities, and branding details are correct.
  • Once artwork has been approved and production has commenced, Techplo cannot accept responsibility for errors contained in the approved artwork.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the customised nature of branded products:

  • Custom-branded products cannot be returned or exchanged where they have been produced according to approved artwork.
  • Manufacturing defects or incorrect products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Unbranded products may qualify for exchange, subject to supplier approval and provided they remain unused and in their original condition.
  • Approved returns must be authorised by Techplo before goods are returned.

8. Pricing

  • All quotations are subject to availability and may change without prior notice until an order has been confirmed.
  • Pricing is confirmed at the time an order is accepted.
  • Quotations remain valid only for the period stated on the quotation.

9. Discounts & Special Pricing

Techplo may offer:

  • Recurring order discounts
  • Bulk order discounts
  • Approved reseller/trade pricing
  • Promotional specials

Discount eligibility is determined at Techplo's discretion and may vary according to product, order quantity, and promotional campaigns.

10. Trade Accounts

  • Trade accounts are available exclusively to approved businesses whose primary business activity is the resale of promotional products, branded apparel, or related products.
  • Submission of a trade account application does not automatically create an active account.
  • Applications are reviewed using the supporting documentation supplied during registration. Techplo reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion.
  • Trade pricing applies only to approved trade accounts.

11. Account Conduct

  • Approved trade accounts must be used in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
  • Techplo reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account where it is used fraudulently, unlawfully, or contrary to these Terms & Conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Techplo's liability is limited to the value of the products or services supplied.
  • Techplo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational damage arising from the use of its products or services.

13. POPIA & Privacy

  • Techplo respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • Personal information is collected only for legitimate business purposes, including trade account verification, order processing, communication, and customer support.
  • Please refer to the Techplo Privacy Notice for further information.

14. Amendments

  • Techplo reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • The version accepted by the customer at the time of application or order shall apply to that transaction.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
